Overview

Knight: Dark Fantasy Tales ("the App") is developed by App League (Darren Lambert). This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data. Knight is an offline game with minimal data collection.

1. What data we collect

Knight is an offline game. Your game progress is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate servers that store personal gameplay data.

The only data collected is:

• Purchase information: if you make an in-app purchase, our payment processor RevenueCat receives an anonymous purchase identifier and your platform account identifier (Apple ID or Google account) to validate and restore your purchase. We do not see or store your payment card details.

• Anonymous analytics (if enabled): we may collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (for example, which in-game screens are visited and run completion rates) via Firebase Analytics to improve the game. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

• Account information (optional): if you choose to sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a platform account identifier used to associate your purchase and game progress across your devices. You can use the App fully without signing in.

• Push notification token (optional): if you allow notifications, your device provides an anonymous push token (via Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send occasional gameplay reminders. You can turn this off at any time in your device settings.

2. What we do NOT collect

• Your name or email address, unless you voluntarily provide them by signing in with Apple or Google (see section 1)

• Your location or GPS data

• Your contacts, camera, or microphone

• Your device's unique hardware identifier (IDFA) without your explicit consent (iOS ATT)

• Any data that can identify you personally beyond what is required for purchases

3. Advertising

Knight contains no advertising. No advertising SDKs are integrated. No data is shared with advertising networks.

4. Third-party services

• RevenueCat: manages in-app purchases and entitlement status (revenuecat.com/privacy).

• Firebase Analytics (Google): anonymous usage analytics (firebase.google.com/support/privacy).

• Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In: optional authentication used to link your purchase and progress across devices.

• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): delivers optional push notifications (firebase.google.com/support/privacy).

5. Data retention

Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat for as long as necessary to validate your entitlement. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Google Firebase per their standard retention policy (up to 14 months for aggregated data).

Your game save data is stored only on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app or reset your save from within the game.

6. Children's privacy

Knight is rated 12+ and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at the address below.

7. Your rights (GDPR and privacy laws)

If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have the right to:

• Request access to data we hold about you

• Request deletion of your data

• Object to processing of your data

Because Knight collects minimal data and does not store personal profiles, most requests are satisfied by uninstalling the app. For purchase data held by RevenueCat, contact them directly via their privacy portal.

8. iOS App Tracking Transparency

On iOS, the app requests your permission before any tracking occurs, in accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy, then Tracking.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
